About Me

IMG_0891

One thing about me is that I'm always on the go doing something.  I'm always working on something.

  • Work - I'm a scientist working on coherent control research using a femtosecond laser to try and detect trace amounts of energetic materials using multiplex coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy.  However, I've worked on at least three completely different research area. Find out what I have been working on in my career.
  • Morgan State - I'm an adjunct professor at Morgan State University teaching second semester introductory physics.  Check out my students.
  • Church - My wife and I attend Emmanuel Baptist Church in Laurel.
  • Volunteer Organizations - I'm the former webmaster for the Washington DC Chapter of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association (FAMU NAA).  Take a look at my greatest creation, the chapter website. Currently, I’m the Media and Technology Committee Chair for the FAMU NAA as well as the executive administrative officer for the National Society of Black Physicists.

Did I mention that I'm married? My wife keeps coming up with things for me to do. She has her own business, Roberson School of Music, that I serve as advisor/co-owner, technical support, magazine supplier, etc.  I need a nap and a vacation.  This page will keep getting updates so stay tuned.
